Building upon the proven success of the ChartManager^TM service for the management and delivery of Notices to Mariners and corrections to paper charts, ChartCo have introduced the oceanXpress^TM service for delivery of updates to electronic navigation charts and publications data. Data types supported include official Electronic Navigation Charts (ENCs) issued by Primar Stavanger and IC-ENC, the Admiralty Raster Chart Service (ARCS) and the Admiralty Digital List of Lights and Radio Signals Update Service.

With ChartCo oceanXpress^TM vessel managers place data supply orders with their normal navigation data suppliers. The ChartCo system is then used for delivery onboard of updates by 'L Band' satellite broadcast.

As with other ChartCo services, a fixed weekly fee covers all satellite communications costs and ensures the ships at sea receive data regardless of postal delays, changes to ships schedules and with no action required from shore based manager
